The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE – MAINS) is the sole admission criteria for NITs, IIITs, CGFI and other institutes including the IITs into undergraduate (B.Tech., M.Sc.) and dual degree (BT-MT) programs. However, to get placed into IITS and IIST, one must take an additional (JEE – ADVANCED) test.
To write the JEE – ADVANCED test, one must have already qualified the JEE – MAINS Examination.
